BTW, remind me how Gatti "won" that second title.

He did win two belts no matter how you slice it.

He won that second belt by being ranked at the top of the WBC rankings and fighting the next highest ranked challenger, Branco.

Remind me how PBF keeps his WBC welterweight belt ?

Don't be mr double standard , cabron

      No he doesn't.

      They both are two-division champions.

Corrales beat fighters like Roberto Garcia, Angel Manfredy, Acelino Freitas, Joel Casmayor, Derrick Gainer, and Jose Luis Castillo. He was losses to Floyd Mayweather (one-sided), Joel Casamayor (competitive), Jose Luis Castillo, and Joshua Clottey.

Gatti beat fighters like Tracy Harris Patterson, Gabriel Ruelas (mentally shot after killing Jimmy Garcia), Wilson Rodriguez, Micky Ward, Giancula Branco, and Jesse James Leija. He has losses to guys like Micky Ward (close and controversial), Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya, (one-sided), Ivan Robinson twice (close), and Angel Manfredy (competitve).

The best wins Chico had were over guys closer to their primes than Gatti's.

Chico was a better fighter than Gatti. He fought/beat/was comoetitive with great and borderline great fighters: castillo, casamayor, etc. Chico stopped Freitas.

gatti has never been competitive with a good fighter.

I guess you consider it a double standard to say that gatti was never the best guy at his divisions and Floyd was.

Does a belt make the fighter?... or does the fighter make the belt?

If you are questioning the legitimacy of Floyd's WW belt, then you are insane. That is the one belt in boxing with a clear linear progression. That is the Oscar => Shane => Forrest => mayorga => spinks => Judah => baldomir => PBF belt

How is that an illegitimate belt? no vacancies, nothing.

I owe Roy jones a drink for Pazienza, and I owe mayweather two for Hatton & gatti.

LMAO at "Johnny Rebel" making out like Gatti is a more deserving HOF candidate than Chico.

I guess it's because Gatti looks least like a "gollywog" of the two.

Micky Ward wins were just hell wins, no accomplishments, he just gave all he had and won. Now look at who he lost to. Ko loses to Baldomir, Mayweather, and De La Hoya just to name a few. Gatti gave us amazing moments but sorry not HOF
he also also beat gabe rueles and wilson rodriguez. he was well past his best when he lost to baldy,,mayweather and dlh
