How Exactly Can Cotto Win?

Most judges don't seem to acknowledge body punches unless they create a knockdown or visibly double a guy over in pain. I don't see Cotto breakin thru Tony's chin, but if he can get to his body strongly enough to do damage in close quarter exchanges he might be able to get a decision. Thing is I don't see a Cotto KO at all, and I'm sure Tony knows any close rds will go to Cotto so he'll throw so many shots there won't be that many of em. Cotto's gonna have to outbox Tony to win on points and I don't think that'll happen cuz I expect an all out brawl. And once again I can't see him stoppin Tony either so it looks like Cotto's a beaten man to me. I'm sure this will be a FOTY candidate and I respect him too much to say Tony will one sidedly destroy him, but I'm feelin the spirit of this post; Cotto ain't winnin this ****in fight.

I think Cotto will have to be very wary of the uppercut, among other punches.
He is going to have to fight like Mayweather did against Hatton. Box and move, box and move... except there will be no slowing down period in the late rounds for Margarito. He is going to have to box and move to a fairly boring decision.
If Cotto wins, this fight won't be nearly as exciting as it is billed to be.

But Cottos resume ****s all over Margarito's and has fought the tougher competition of the two. I think Margarito would have look ****** against Shane Mosely. But thats just my opinion so don't get upset marg fans.

I said he was going to have to move like Mayweather did while using his jab... not have a Mayweather boxing clinic against Margarito.
Basically, he is going to have to avoid inside fighting, exchanges, etc.
And he is going to have to counterpunch like a beast in order to try to hold Tony off.
I do think Cotto has the power to at least make Margarito slow down a bit, and be a bit more wary of coming straight at him 100% at all times.

We'll be seeing about all this you're talking about. ^ Throwing sharp punches while you're almost getting knocked through the ropes and backpeddling at high speed doesn't add up to jack ****, my friend.
