You're probably thinking to yourself, "If I keep picking against Cotto long enough the odds will catch up and I will finally be right".

In the meantime, get ready for another wrong pick because Margarito isn't the man to get it done.
Why would I think that if he's such a good fighter and I'm just guessing? I'd probably be thinking "If I keep picking against Cotto I'll probably keep losing." That has nothing to do with it whatsoever. I can assure of you of that. I think this Margarito fight will make it pretty damn clear. Trust.

Right, tell me about how and why Margarito won't get it done.

Well there you go. You actually thought that Gomez had a chance.

What that shows is that you either overrate the abilities of Cotto's opponents or underestimate Cotto's. Or Both?

Why are you responding to that? Hello? It was a goof and I'm damn proud of it. What's with the Margarito stuff? Hello?

Gomez is fully capable of getting the job done against a fighter like Cotto.
              Underrating him much?

              Overrating Gomez?

              I made my point.

Underrating? NOPE. And you will see that. What are you stalling for?

Nothing to say about Margarito? Nothing to say about this fight?

The job is just waiting to be done on Cotto. The only problem has been there hasn't been a complete performance by anyone in a position to do it.

Mosley for example, could have collapsed on Cotto much sooner in the fight and the whole thing would have looked like the 9th round onward with Cotto backpeddling and reeling from attack. Cotto wasn't hurt in those late rounds - he just couldn't stand being pressured and he doesn't take a good punch especially well. Mosley had Cotto buzzed several times earlier in the fight, but decided to do nothing about it but dance away for whatever reason.

Margarito isn't just going to win. He's going to decimate Cotto.

But what's your take, R1? How do you see it?
My take on the Mosley fight? I thought it was close - ISH but clear. I saw Cotto going backwards in the later rounds thru choice rather than nessacity, he still had crisp powerfull shots tagging Sugar while on the backfoot. If u watch Cotto's early fights (which u probably have being the boxing Junkie u r!) U'll see him do that from time to time just showing something else. Then again he may hav been a tad tired but nothing that he couldnt handle.

What are you slow. Post 302 of this thread.

I believe on Post 325.......I left you my thread about what I think will happen in this fight and what I HOPE will happen in this fight.

Don't act like someone is dodging your question, I've talked about this fight plenty. I'm not trying to convince you....I just went into the World of Addison and how you work when it comes to Cotto. You're picking with your heart, not your head is what my research tells me after looking at one of your threads.

I have a little theory on why Cotto was seemingly tired in the late rounds. It appeared that Cotto was fighting extremely tense and coiled throughout. I think that helped deplete his energy reserves - but it also helped protect Cotto from some of the damaging punches Mosley was connecting with.

In the past when Cotto has been caught he was loose. Too loose maybe for his constitution. I think he's determined that clenching up when he takes a big shot enables him to withstand the hit better. It's also exhausting of course.

Anyways, just a silly aside from me..
