How will Cotto respond to pressure?

How will Margarito respond when he starts getting hit with the most accurate power punches he has ever been hit in his career?

Beating Cintron isn't gonna convince me that he can do anything against Cotto. That's the weak link puerto rican.

This is the perfect fight for Cotto to show off his versatility and box this guys head off. I've been a long time critic of Cotto but he won me over the way he countered Mosley in that fight. I picked Mosley to win easy and I was suprised just how much Cotto landed on him. Fighting Margarito is actually stepping a level down from Mosley. I look forward to Cotto getting rid of that clown.

Mosley blocks punches with his face.

You would be hard pressed to miss him with a sledgehammer.

The more i think of this fight the less im worried (as a Cotto fan)
Every1 keeps going on about Margarito's power but while he's Heavy handed and relentless its the fast sharp shots that he cant see coming that have hurt Cotto in the past by Snappy punchers. Margs are Heavy but slow and looping Cotto will see them coming and he is a tough guy Miguel will grind it out if he has too he can win this fight no question. Again tho the uppercut is a bit of a worry.

He CAN win, but I think this is up there with Mosley as his toughest fight.

He, technically speaking had a better chance of hurting Mosley then he does Margarito. Considering I think Cintron is a harder puncher then Cotto and couldn't do **** to him. I don't think he's gonna be folded up with a body-shot, but who knows. Cotto has to treat the majority of this fight like the last 3 to 4 rounds of his fight with Mosley. Manuever, use his superior footwork, keep his chin tucked and pay attention to his defences. Mosley had/has the straighter punches, but SOMETIMES, with the way Cotto comes in, he'll have to watch out for the uppercut. If he's able to avoid that punch, box the way he did in the last few rounds with Mosley and use that nice, strong jab of his, he'll have a real good chance.

Although, he'll have to make sure to do a LITTLE more than he did for the latter part of the Mosley fight, because those rounds were close, and Margarito will NEVER tire (Not that Mosley did). When Margarito sleeps, he's wide awake. Lol. He can't go in there looking to finish the fight in that round. He's gotta finish that round and win the fight.

It'll be tough, but it can happen. Jab, hook, keep his chin tucked and don't get careless and he has as good a shot as Margarito has at winning.

Yup the uppercut is the only shot im really worried about in this fight coz Tonys is a peach and Cotto can be open for the uppercut with his defencive style

I'd also note that, the reason I bring in Mosley's straight shots, is because that was what gave Cotto the most trouble. And Margarito can wing a lot of punches, at times.

However, another thing that STARTED to bother Cotto late was the constant pressure of an equally sized man. This time in, he's got a bigger guy. However, he's much more prepared for it.
