cotto just doesnt have the following the DLH has....

and the PPV numbers between the two fighters prove it.

The Mayweather/De La Hoya fight didn't provide enough excitement to make the fans want to see it again. Cotto/Mayweather would be bigger because Cotto is starting to become well known as well and he is also unbeaten.

What would be the difference this time? We have already witnessed the hype so whats would they do different in order to make this a draw again?

Yeah, I understand that but the general public is getting tired of seeing DLH lose over and over again lol.

Tryin' to sell a fight without the diehards is like trying to win an election without your base!

Casual fans turn to die hards when it comes to wether or not they should buy a PPV. They will look on boxing scene.. what will it say? DLH v Mayweather: same old bull****. They will ask their friends, nah the first one was whack!
They will remember that they shelled out 55 bucks for a sparing match and they won't buy.

Trying to resell the same old piece of **** doesn't work no matter how much you sprinkle glitter on it and repackage it is what I'm saying.
