The way he'd just attack and impose his will.
i met him in Mt Pleasant when he fought some bum named Cerrone Fox (if i recall correctly), he was walking through the casino afterwards and i shook his hand.. said hello, no ass kissing. Its one thing to see him on TV but it was almost comical to me how short the guy is. im about 6'3 and i towered over him. wladamir would just beat his ass into the ground at this point, so if hes gonna get a title shot it better be chagaev.

the one thing he has going for him is he has the coolest trunks in the heavyweight division hands down.

Tua got hit with a bodyshot that nearly took his wind out but in the 12 round i belive he had Byrd out on his feet but Tua just couldn't let his hands go or wasn't aware that Byrd was seriously hurt.
      Yes.

Byrd had him flustered as hell.

The Apex was him "drawing" with Rahman in a fight I thought he won.

Anyways, he did that 1 and done thing and it worked. But didn't impress the judges.........who somehow scored the fight for a guy who did the most uncoordinated version of Ali's rope a dope in the history of boxing.

If you're talking sporadic payday title material I suppose.
Yeah, I mean like a Hasim Rahman type title shot, not a James Toney push to the moon title run.

Oh yeah I know he's short.

But that's really not an issue to me when I've seen what he does to big guys. I mean I'm 6'2 170-175. So a HW who bum rushes and throws mean combinations and can obliterate guys well over 200 pounds is pretty scary.

ESPECIALLY considering how small he is in reality. Well compact.

i love david tua and would love to see him make a run and get a shot. id like to see him against rahman again (i know that was rumored) or possibly arreola (another rumor). i guess tua plans to fight another tune up soon then try to fight a big name.

i just boxrec'd him, i cant believe he hasnt fought since the fight that i went to. if he were serious he wouldnt be waiting so long between fights. and honestly the guy i saw him fight was the absolute worst professional i have ever personally seen.... he was so bad that hasim rahman, who fought on the same card.... signed him up as an opponent for a fight a month later.

if tua is fighting comp like that i find it hard to believe he has serious aspirations of landing a heavyweight title shot anymore... not if he has to work or fight for it anyway

Why does he deserve a shot? He hasn't beaten anyone in his comeback, maybe he should fight a fellow comebacking heavyweight in Hasim Rahman.

well does it appear it will be resolved in his favor? cause hes not getting any younger and he cant afford to be out of the ring for 8 months at this point

                      Oh Christ no.

Who in their right mind wants to see Rahman fight?
