It adds to his legacy..Tito never ducked anyone and always wanted and seems like he still does want to fight the best guys out there. At 147-154 he was the man..most title defenses as a welter..he hold the record.

Henry Armstrong had 19 defenses at welterweight... when there was only one welterweight title. He also won the welterweight title while holding the featherweight and lightweight titles, so he was a three division champion, all at the same time... but in today's terms, his championships in those three divisions spans between 5 of today's current divisions.

trinidad didnt do **** but land hip shots. after he lost to hopkins theres nothing of significance he did. the mayorga fight was entertaining but mayorga was basically a bum. trinidad just became a fighter who wanted the money.

He also beat that bum Hacine Cherifi, but like you said, nothing of note.

Mayorga had a concrete chin, so can't blame him for that. And for the armtrong comment, Tito wasn't allowed to hold titles from diffirent devisions at the same time.
He has 3 losses to all time greats way above his best weightclass(es) and some past his prime. The rest of his career is great and shall be remembered for that.

And welterweights with iron chins really don't have iron chins at middleweight.
You know how Hagler took all Hearns could handle at 160? I'll bet you money he could not have taken all Larry Holmes could dish out.
Chins diminish when you move up in weight. I think it is a clear case of Tito's power wearing off as he moved up in weight.
