he kept the jab in his face all night circling in the middle of the ring...
you saying no version of roy, makes me believe youve never seen roy in his prime... your really meaning 2008's roy jones
You may not agree with me, and it's ok with me.
But let's analyze some of Roy's habits in the ring.
Let's start with his habit of going straight back with his hands by his waist, wrong tactic against someone who is 4 inches taller then you and can punch.
His next habit of coming in with a left hook, looks good against mediocrities and just plain smaller fighters, not gonna look good against anyone who is big, strong and can throw a good straight punch.
That is, again, besides his habit of hanging out by the ropes, and believe me, he would against Haye.

Originally posted by FrankieBBJones by decision for me. Too slick and sharp for Haye, may not have the most power but Haye does have a weak chin. Roy's shown in the past aswel that he has no problem with moving around weight classes either. Yup, Roy to dance and land to a wide decision.
technical boxers like even an old jones would give haye problems.

I could go on for days about Hayes technique (or lack of).
Roy would of whipped him a new one.
If he whipped John Ruiz (who by the way isn't a half bad fighter) who would of whipped David Haye the same.
He was faster and had more skills. I dont see a guy who has fought mostly at british level having enough to beat Roy. Who has fought something like 18 world titlists or champions.

roy adjusts his gameplan according to who he fights... a bigger guy.. he would keep it in the middle of the ring just like he did against ruiz...

More over you Fighter A beat Fighter B therefore he should beat fighter C logic is rubbish as well.
Therefore I am dismissing your argument.
