The argument can be made that Cotto is a more representative champion at 147. I'm fine with that. When it comes to ACTUALLY defending his title against 147 pounders... it isn't good for Floyd.

His win over Hatton is pretty good though IMO... even though he isn't a natural 147 pounder.

His win over De La Hoya was pretty good too, but it wasn't even fought at 147 (even though Floyd weighed about that).

Truth be told, you can give the edge to Cotto right now, but this isn't going to be definitively settled until Floyd and Cotto fight each other.

Remember, I was just saying that Floyd clearly has the better overall career... his work at 147 is somewhat lacking though, for the moment. That can change with a couple more fights.
