The whole fight is on youtube ...
Never seen it before but it looks like Griff was doing pretty well in the 15th.
      I think i'll watch the rest later.12th

By posting insightful and objective thoughts about fighters, rather than lumping them into a certain category after watching a few minutes of footage on Youtube, I am the troll? Wow, your theories on that subject are about as whacked as your theories on boxing.

          the scores were 147-143 147-144 and 147-145.

Hardly the domination that Peetie would have you believe.

            1st fight
One thing is true even though Griff did well as a middle he looked like a welter and Monz looks like a super in this fight.

The bit you posted was not the 15th round, and Griffith was getting handily outdone in it as well. This fight was closer than the first obviously, and Griffith did better than I thought he would've prior to seeing it, but it was in no way, shape, or form a robbery. Monzon won pretty handily the way I had it.

I never claimed it to be a domination did I? I can tell by the way you're going about this that you haven't actually seen the fight, and if you have, you're just BS'ing about it to argue with me.

I said very clearly the fight was closer than I would've assumed it to be before watching it, but clearly a win for Monzon.

Look at the end of the post i said 12th I had just watched the 15th that's why I was talking about that.
Wasn't Griff getting pretty old by this time anyway?

He was a bit past his prime yeah, but managed to do better than a nearer to prime Griffith did in the first fight, so go figure.

Griffith was old and past his best weightclass. He barely won a match after that fight. But the fact that he could still hang with Monzon at that point shows how good a fighter he was.

It was probably that one last magical moment that every great fighter has. Where the fighter performs like he did in his prime even though he by all means should be totally past it. Or something like that. Or maybe it was Monzon who could've had some problems at the time. Don't know.
