Look at where the punch lands and look at Hatton's right foot, Floyd's left.

Floyd wasn't hurt; he was very composed as well after regaining his balance. He also had his hands right back up and punched, swept to the side very nicely.

have to agree with that. Even if Hatton hurt him, he couldn't finish him. And Floyd sure hurt Hatton a lot and could finish him. The better fighter won, no doubt in my mind.

Hatton was confident he would beat Floyd, he was confident he had the gameplan to do it and he gave it a good go for six rounds at which point he got frustrated and his lack of control really let him down.

The refereeing was a shame (unless you are suggesting that the refereeing had ZERO impact on this fight) because it prevented us from finding out if Hatton could continue to make it a fight, and if Floyd could really beat Hatton at his own game without Cortez splitting them up every time Hatton showed the upper hand.

If Floyd won as easily as you are suggesting then would he have really said that Ricky was among the toughest guys he fought? What did he say about Gatti after the fight? The same thing he said before, he's a C+ fighter. If Hatton was as crap as you're suggesting then Floyd must be a real ***** to find him a tough fight.

In today's boxing, there is NO HOLDING AND HITTING.

Ricky's Uncle in the Tszyu fight was a sham. Cortez was preventing that crap from happening again.

Lastly, what did Floyd say after the fight with Gatti, let us find out.

You all can say whatever you want about hatton, this dude sold 1.5 million plus pay per views and is a world class athlete. Getting to the level he is at is almost unthinkable, and is done by VERY FEW. None of us on this forum can even come close at all to what this man has achieved in this sport, hatton isnt crying everyday over this but im sure it has hit him pretty hard. He is a champion, and there is no question about that what so ever, he did not get to the point where he is at from slacking off, he got to that point from years of hard work, anyone dissing hatton can **** off.

lol This is the funniest **** I think I've ever read...

Anyone see that movie called "The Great White Hype" with Damon Wayans?

This reminds of exactly that movie lol.

White guy (The good guy), Who beat the Champ (Damon Wayans) in the amateurs with a over hand right is being brought back to fight him as the current champ (Damon Wayans, the bad guy) in order for his promoter to generate enough cash to pay off what he owes to the champ. (D.Wayans)

His promoter, making the point that Cooney/Holmes being the highest grossed Heavyweight bout because Cooney was white and Holmes was black thinks that having a hyped up white guy will generate a **** load of cash lol..

The white guy starts talkin all this ****, talkin more **** then the champion he's fighting (like Ricky Hatton, Hatton was talkin **** all during 24/7 lol) All the fans got ****** into it, started buying tickets like crazy..

Basically, promoter hypes up this white guy to beat the champ, people get suckered into it, the fight breaks records financially, makes a **** load of money, but the white guy loses to Daman Wayans in round 1 lmao...

Now Hatton's crying...completely lost and oblivious to the fact that he shouldn't have even been in the ring that night lol. He talked all that **** and got knocked into the ring post and landed on his ass.

              Everything boxing shouldn't be.

It should have been Cotto in there Dec. 8th. Or atleast Margarito...I mean Margarito was coming off a loss, and Mayweather likes fighting guys who are past prime, or outclassed, or coming off a losses. So it should have been Cotto in there, or atleast Margarito.

Do you know how many fights Floyd has said that after??

Floyd said that Gatti was "a great, great champion". I'm not sure that you wantto pin your hopes on Floyd's post-fight compliments.

Hatton had 20,000 British fans follow him to America to show them his impersonation of a mountain goat as he rams the turnbuckle.

They could have stayed home for that.
