Give it up already, Floyd fans are just as annoying as the British fans, although British fans express themselves with more class and entertainment.

Poor dude, I feel bad for him.
He put the weight of his country on his shoulders.
He has nothing to be ashamed of though, he went 100%, and lost to the better fighter.
I wish him luck in the future.

And you're an insult to semi-literate ass-jabbers around the world.

That's a part of it. Probably a big part.

Hatton was more than beaten. He was undressed. Exposed. Thoroughly.

Hatton and Graham figured that they could be outboxed, outran, outjabbed. They were shellshocked that Floyd ran THROUGH him. Take away the knockout - what would the rest of the tenth round and the 11th round look like?

With all the talk that Floyd was underestimating Ricky, they underestimated Floyd. How is that possible?

With Hatton there were a number of mitigating circumstances that give him a reason to keep on believing in himself. He knows he had success early on, he knows he lost focus and there's a marked change in his behaviour after he was deducted a point in what he saw as unfair circumstances.

As I've said previously some people are in the process of rewriting history and marking the fight as wholly one sided, when it clearly wasn't. At no point was Floyd truly dominant until the seventh round, and he didn't seriously affect Hatton apart from in the eighth and the tenth. He didn't "break Hatton down physically and mentally", Hatton got angry and got tagged with many clean counters as a result.

If Hatton had stuck to his gameplan although it may not have led to victory, it would certainly have been a contentious decision and I think Ricky knows that better than anyone.

Most of that revisionist history can be found in your post, Ned.

The fight played out EXACTLY how Floyd said it would. And then Floyd did EXACTLY what he said he would. How is that not dominant?
