Floyds an excellent boxer, pure and simple. But he is not an excellent "****er" and thats what alot of people like to see. Two guys walking straight ahead and ****in' or slugging away.

Floyd is elite and him not having a loss is proof of that. It may not please the public that he doesnt stand and trade on a usual basis but it wins his fights for him. A fighter uses his strengths..............Rockin'

its incredible that you guys dismiss boxing fans as MMA fan type simpletons. its actually insulting. i dont understand the guys who get offended with that type of criticism think that its either brawling or boxing. you can be technical AND exciting. there is no black and white. the Marquez brothers, Roy Jones Jr, Willie Pep, Ali ALL are/were supreme technical masters but also made it exciting.

Roy Jones was hated on so much and willie pep scored few knock outs. In todays game he would be considered boring and lack luster because he doesnt have the "hot rod".

I dont dismiss boxing fans as anything, I just know what the common man likes to see. Whens the last time you saw a guy jump out of his chair in excitment after Jones landed a jab and swiftly slipped a right while sliding out of the way.

Man, I NEVER really knew boxing was knock someone out or get knocked out...I thought that was a street fight, or maybe UFC...news to me.

then you don't know the history of the sport my friend.
this **** goes back as far as greek times.
you would have never heard of someone winning a decision then.
even in the 1700 and 1800 with the London Prize Ring rules and Marquess of Queensberry rules it was all knock outs.
you think this sport is elegant but in reality it's been just as barbaric if not more then mixed martial arts.

I think fighters only resort to fighting flat-footed because they have no choice. and boxers like Mayweather has plenty of options, so he doesnt stand flat footed...., instead he boxes on his toes, just like SRL, SRR, or ali..
