I hope Floyd is paying you money to write this stuff because it is not easy to shut up Mayweather haters and you are doing a good job of that

why do you find equipment in every boxing gym that improves head
      movement?

Why do fighters wear ankle weights?

      jump rope?

And simulate ducking punches when doing pad workouts?

If I threw something at your head, hopefully you would have the wherewithal to move out of the way. ...

      Or

Would you Stand there get hit, and then throw something Back....?

      Generally Speaking....

I think fighters only resort to fighting flat-footed because they have no choice. and boxers like Mayweather has plenty of options, so he doesnt stand flat footed...., instead he boxes on his toes, just like SRL, SRR, or ali..

      So the question really is....?

Should he take punishment to give punishment...?
      (Like fighters such Margarito)

Are Should he give Punishment and avoid Punishment..?
      (as he is doing now....)

        Happy new year sir.

To be honest, I dislike when people call full time boxers runners. Boxing can be an art & science, full of technique. Or it can also be a brutal war, with men putting their life on the line for our entertainment. Every fighter has a different style that they are comfortable with & one they can master.

They should go watch the amateur bouts where floyd loses and shut up-but i agree whats the point of standing getting smashed in the head when you can avoid the shots and stil come out winning by KO...

FELLA'S, it's because whenever floyd is winning a fight, he coasts to a decision, instead of going for the ko! and even worse, is when the ko is there and he didn't go for it. i was happy to see him macho a ko against hatton, even though i wanted hatton to win, i was glad to see floyd not carry the fight.

i've been a plenty of mayweather's fights, and not once have i ever gotten my moneys worth. now, i'm not saying that i dont' respect him and his skill set, i do, but what i don't like is when he draws out the fight to the end, when he could've very well ended it before the final bell, given a crowd pleasing performance, and ended it early and saved everyone 5-6 rounds of keeping a guy in the game. it's like if tiger woods putted from the teebox instead of bombed a huge shot down the fairway..................

floyd has the skills and the pop to put his opponents away and end the fight in dramatic fashion, but instead, he drags it out and calls it playing it safe. i don't call it playing it safe when you completely have a guy licked, like when he fought baldomir, all it would've took was a good flurry, or just some straight teeing off and the ref or someone would've stopped it, but instead, floyd played it safe and bored the place to death, to where, celeb's were leaving and the crowd was following then right out the door before the end of the 7th round. when people know how the fight is going to be for 5 more rounds, with a sport that is as unpredictable as boxing, for people to feel like the fight is a baseball game in the top of the 9th with the home team leading 30 to nothing, thats terrible, whats the point? why stay? everyone that left knew that it was going to be the same ****, no one even wanted to hang out to even hope for a knock down or anything, because they knew what floyd was giving them was a just enough performance, just do enough to win the round and coast, and everyone in the stands saw it and left basically.......

so, it's stuff like that is why floyd is called a runner, it's basically his decision, go for the ko or coast.............. goyo vargas, sosa, corely, just to naem a few. but to his credit if he did what he did against, N'dou, or hatton, or corrales ( rip), or the others that he stopped within the distance, then it would be a whole other story. i'm not saying that he has to get a ko everytime, but what i am saying is that he could try and take his guy out more often.

It wouldn't have anything to do with Floyd would it?

I Don't think Floyd is a runner I just think his style is ***ING BORING!!!!!!

And add the fact that he rarely fight anybody that could potentially hit him back and you have a PFP#1 fighter who can only generate luke warm PPV numbers.
