Puerto Rico as well as many other islands in the Carribean and in the West Indies have a great sense of culture and pride. They have a history of oppression, especialy if you read about the ****** that were brought to those islands.

I have always gave respect to PR, Cuba, Dominican Rep., Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and other cultures that managed to keep their identity after many years of rule by european nations. I think that is something that unites us as Latinos and why we are so proud to be who we are.

I just don't understand why I have to be insulted when I'm just talking the truth. I attack people like Viva Mexico just as much as I do anyone who comes in here talking out there ass about anything.

For PR to be such a small island and having the boxing champs it has, I have always given them their props and the rivalry between Mexico and PR has always been the best in the sport IMO.

Hey, I'm from Trinidad. You are speaking the truth. Actually many people in the carribbean don't have a college education (or an education period) and really know the history of their island so don't feel discouraged by the insults.

**** 80% of us feel that having light skin makes us white..a foolish carribbean belief. Cause as we both know, The only reason, only reason we're in here is because of the African slave trade. Yes lots of mixed now but still the slave trade is why we're here.
