You ask casual fight fans about any of them and they wont know too much simply because they weren't perhaps household names.
Hamed simply by his achivements must be spoken about in the same breadth.

oh HELL no. like said a while ago. greatness comes from what you contribute to your profession (in this case boxing). hamed ****ed around, made an ass of himself, fought a bunch of nobodies, collected a few belts, and got his ass handed to him by the only real fighter he fought in MAB.
being a jackass, fighting nobodies, and getting beaten by a legend does not earn you an induction to the HOF.
jesus, how can anyone possibly think that hamed's name should be placed next to names like robinson, hagler, marciano, louis, ali, frazier, and foreman?

i suppose you could justify his induction on the grounds that he was the biggest twat face prick in the sport. ever.

He was champion for 6 years.
Won 4 world titles.
Beat 9 other former or future champions. Stopping 7 of them. KO'd Tom Johnson who had never been stopped in 44 fights and had made 11 successful defences of his title.
TKO'd Manuel Medina stopped only once in 52 fights.
All by the age of 28.
Only losing once. Stopping 31 out of 36 opponents.
Im not sure what else he could have done apart from beat Barrera.
Compared to others on the list , Hamed did more than enough to deserve to be inducted despite being a total ****ing idiot.
Also he attracted an inormous amount of attention to the lower weight classes and was a credit to boxing. Just not humanity.
