Krasniqi was beating Brewster badly before he got knocked out from the reports, and how was he never the same when he had a string of victories and was coming off of a win over a decent fighter in Brian Minto when he fought Thompson?

Besides, who else has Brock beaten that makes him better than Thompson? nooo one...oh wait, McCline, oh wait, Zuri Lawrence beat him, wow geez how embarressing.
The jury is still out on Chagaev, since we are judging him on one fight and we all know how that went with Lyakhovich. Peter is still a mistery. Is he good enough to make Toney look bad or has Toney become bad enough to make him look good? His next fight will show.

McCline and Etienne on Brock's resume look better than 50% of Thompson's resume combined. Look, I'm not saying that Brock is Ali reborn, I'm just saying that he is the best of the worst today.

Sorry, I am drunk as **** tonight.
      Povetkin will stop Brock

Naw man I put a bunch of Chagaev fights up in the lounge, I judge him by them all.

C'mon kids, Thompson is a 35 yr. old prospect with a win over Luan Krasniqi. Don't get too excited. People get overeager at American heavies these days. Just accept that there are none, but one day most likely there will be

I would say that Brock would chave a good chance to beat any of the current champs, besides Wlad.

It's hard to believe Mike Tyson is the last great American Heavyweight... (Evander was good)

Thompson is like Glen Johnson at heavyweight. hes old but still very well conditioned, he cane pace himself in any case, and even fights slightly like Glen.
not saying hes amazing but hes up there in todays heavies, at least top ten. He'll get some more credit when he becomes the WBO champion by beating up Imbragimov.

Man that might be ok as a prediction, but at this point he's not done anything to warrant any higher than #10. And The Ring seems to badly want a new American on that list, even though Povetkin, Dimitrenko, and Virchis are probably all more deserving

I'm talking about fights against top 10 competition. I've seen many of his fights but it's hard to judge him unless he fights a few of top 10 fighters. It's not just the ability, it's mental preparedness as well. Like I said, look at Lyakhovich. To go from the FOTY in HW to the worst fight of the year in HW in 2 fights...

Anyone else agree with this or was Holyfield actually great?

Holy's resume was great, but he lost to a lot of fighters, which makes him good.
