I never hated on Amir Khan for getting knocked down and neither will I hate on Berto for doing the same. They're exciting young prospects who simply got caught with good shots. Anybody who would shout "exposed" or otherwise is simply a critic. I can't hate on guys in the sport with exciting styles who have crowd-pleasing fights and I can't see why anybody else would either.

I think it was because Amir went down from a soft hitting guy,Rivera had like 21 KO's,Khans opponent had 7 out of 29 i think? Khan was much more rocked then Berto

BUT,neither should get hated on,there both prospects taking step ups against experienced guys,people are just dumb

You should read the FNF thread. lots of guys hating on him and calling him exposed for getting knocked down.

Two mega prospects tested back to back. Hopefully HBO talks about that a bit on the FORREST-BALDOMIR card.

I was very impressed with Berto's heart and determination for coming off the canvas to fight back valiently. I do have to give the assist to his corner for cutting his glove and giving him time to recover. Berto is a warrior, but he needs to relax his style because right now, Zab Judah, Antonio Margarito, and Cotto would outclass him.

im not hating on berto either but it pissed me off its just cuz they are khan haters so right when he goes down they just come out with "i told ya so"......"exposed"

Yeah I don't think that's such a big deal either.

I'm just not impressed by Berto's style, and I've never really been. It's exciting and he has snap behind his shots, it's just he lapses. I don't see how he would stand a remote chance against any of the top welterweights unless he changed that style from wild swinging to more economical punching and moved his feet more. I like seeing a fight/fight but if we're talking mechanics He'd for one get broken down by Shane and knocked out when he lapsed, he'd get torn apart by Tony or Williams who are just huge and don't stop throwing, and he'd certainly have a hard time against Cotto who would mercilessly attack his body.

And let's not even discuss Oscar.
