Paul Williams vs Miguel Cotto: Who Wins?

Paul Williams by decision. Cotto doesn't have serious power in his punches, just like Margarito. He has heavy hands that he uses to beat on you over the course of the fight until his opponents body gives in. Paul has good footwork and head movement to avoid most of Cotto's shots and we know Paul is going to outwork him 3-1 in punches. Only Cotto's chin isn't as good as Margarito's, so I could see Paul knocking him down a few times in this fight with uppercuts and right hooks. I've seen Paul Williams take a big shot and not get fazed. His chin was the only aspect that I was midly concerned about, and he showed me his toughness. Paul might get hit with some hard body shots, but like I said he's going to outwork Cotto 3-1 and Cotto doesn't exactly have a good defense. Cotto will get tagged with hook combos and straight lefts all night while maybe landing a couple body shots after Paul has landed 6 consecutive punches.

Stylistically, this is not an easy fight for Cotto but Miquel seems to always 'rise to the occasion' and is one of the best body punchers in the game today. I suspect that Cotto would be able to find his mark(unlike Marg) and slowly demoralize Williams by his body attack and power shots to the head.

Also, I hope this fight happens next because Mosley is much better and dangerous opponent for Cotto than Williams..

I can no more give Williams credit for destroying Margarito than I can give me credit for destroying my house by kicking a ball against it. Oh the ball hit the house but the house was not at all damaged by it.
