    Oliver Mccall wins WBC eliminator

Oliver mccall beat Sinan Samil Sam by UD, so after all this peter vitali thing is sorted mccall will fight for the wbc title. i dont think he can win against any of the 3 now but i would like to see him get one last big pay day before he retires, can vitali peter or oleg hurt mccall i have never actual seen him hurt.

the pay day he got in turkey wouldn't have been too bad...and the rematch in turkey should be even better...

let's just hope he don't blow his paydays on COKE!

I don't know why everyone is on Holyfield's bandwagon for beating bums, yet you have McCall fighting contenders and winning.

If Mccall gives Sam a rematch and loses, does that jeopardize his earned title shot? On the other hand, if there's good money to be made in a rematch, then Mccall should take it because you know that his title shot will not be for awhile...

we need unification in the HW division, rematches only prolongs the unity

How does a rematch between contenders affect unification?

McCall has been a tough opponent for every fighter he's faced throughout his career. If you go back to 2001 and work your way up, you'll see he's beaten Akinwande, lost a fairly close decision to Williamson, had a good fight in the later rounds against JCG and has beaten a few journeymen inbetween. He's a tougher fight for the champions than some might expect.

I can understand the rematch from a financial point of view, but a guy of McCall's age doesn't have age on his side to be messing around with rematches.

I agree that Mccall has fought his way to a title shot, but who's to say when he'll be able to cash in on it? We already got Peter, and Vitali in line(before Oliver) for a shot at the WBC title; so he's got a long wait ahead of him. I think a rematch makes good sense for Mccall since I've heard he'll make some good money while staying active while he waits for his shot...
