It appears that an Oscar De La Hoya rematch is not the only fight to make Floyd Mayweather, Jr. come out of his recent retirement. According to a recent report in the Newark Star-Ledger, Mayweather would be willing to come out of retirement for a potential bout with Felix "Tito" Trinidad, who also happens to be retired. This fight would be wayyyyy more boring than a De La Hoya rematch. Anybody remember what happens when Tito fights a skilled boxer? And I mean every single time?!?! It is a one sided affair where Tito stalks aimlessly, gets tagged at will, and pretty much just looks lost. Wink did it. Hop did it. Even Oscar did it for eight rounds, he just decided to stop punching at the end. Floyd would make the Oscar fight look like Hagler ****ing Hearns with this one!

I don't know for sure but it seems to me that Mayweather Jr. would end up pocketing quite a bit of change if he did line them up and fight the non past their prime/retired contemporaries. At this stage though, I am doubtful that it would turn out this way. :sigh:
