i have heard that tyson has the hardest punch on record at 1750 psi. i dont know whether its true though. i think a lot of people think that tysons power is overrated because holmes said so. but a lot of tysons opponents like tubbs, spinks, bruno, saverese and seldon say that tyson had unbelievable power.

People aren't trying to suggest that Tyson is a ****ing douchebag who couldn't KO people. They're saying he didn't punch as hard as people like Shavers, Foreman, etc; despite getting plenty of KO's under his belt.

If Shavers had of had the fundamental boxing ability and accuracy of Tyson he could have literally killed people in the ring. It's the same with Foreman, he was hurting people with arm shots and glancing blows which is insane. Tyson had great power, but it was his pin-point accuracy and combination punching that really did the damage. Shavers was like a sniper, one shot was all that was needed. Tommy Morrison had power, but to put his name up there with Shavers and co is silly IMO.
