Ya there really isn't nobody right now except those guys, because Mayweather is fighting Hoya and Mosely needs a little above average fighter like the ones hes fighting before he turns it up.
Oh and to the guy that said how come we give Mayweather no slack and Mosely some, thats easy, because Mosely was fighting elite competition for the longest and Mayweather has been fighting bums and average competition and crying after he thinks hes beatin someone great such as Gatti, which Oscar already destroyed when Gatti was still in his prime. Gatti was nothing and the last 4 to 5 years he Mayweather hasn't fought anyone in the top p4p list in a long time if ever and now hes fighting and an old but more than still capable dela hoya. Mosely has fought Dela Hoya 2wice, Forest Twice, Winky Twice, Vargas Twice(looked like the old Vargas in the first fight). When Mayweather has fought competition as stiff as Mosely than we can cut him some slack, but until then he deserves all the critism. When Floyd is still fighting at 34 or 35 then we will see what hes truly made of, but he will probably ***** out like hes done most of his career. PS I used to be a big Floyd Fan but he gave me no good fightins with elite competition for a 4 plus years.

He could fight Cintron, Collazo, or even Cotto...But Baldomir? C'mon...

is zab judah coming back, i would prefer Mosley-Judah, but luis collazo is fine, i dont know where mosley would go from here, i believe floyd is scared to fight mosley coz he has as much speed and more power than pretty boy, sugar isnt considering cory spinks since he thinks the fight will turned into track meets, well, margarito will remain a no name until someone beats him, possibly paul williams.

Agreeing with Freedom123 and Borikoa that Shane should be fighting better opponents. Cintron and Collazo are, yes, good possibilities. I thought the meeting with Collazo was already in its final stages of negotiations and tentatively set for mid-February.

I am one of those who saw (of late) Golden Boy Promotions as on its way to earning the reputation of being the company that puts the better matches. Their recent offerings have been rather better than most that other promoters came up with (with a handful of exceptions). This Mosley-Baldomir proposal cannot boost that reputation-in-the-making.

Were Margarito less busy (for two announced forthcoming fights against Williams and Cotto) I surely will be excited over a match between him and Sugar Shane, IF some considerations do not get in the way.

He had those two fights with Vargas which kept him at 154 longer than he said he would, and now have you heard about his possible opponents? The top three listed in a recent article are :

              Carlos Baldomir
              Kermit Cintron
              Luis Collazo

Now, sure, Collazo got some recognition for his fight with Hatton...but besides that he isn't too well known. Is that the caliber of fighter we expect to see Shane fight? Then we have Kermit Cintron....who got spanked by Margarito. Is this fight worth it? I mean...there are bigger names out there and all this would do in my eyes is set Mosley up for a Margarito fight....maybe.

Baldomir? What? Why...? Just because he beat Zab and Gatti. He did just get owned by Mayweather. Are we taking Floyd's scraps now?

Is it just me or, based on this list, does Shane seem delusional? None of those fights are the big boys we expect to see him face. This isn't his first excursion into Welterweight. I see no reason, at this stage of his career, to waste time fighting tune-ups. Just go after a big dog.

              Yes or no?
              Nah, defintely NO.

Shane is just trying to last longer as he could inside the ring. He has very short time left and is on the way out.

Those three names mentioned may not be the biggest names around in the division but are very capable of defeating Shane. It's an unwritten manifestation on Shane's part saying that this is the level where he now belongs.

              Every fighters gets old buddy.

I;d much rather see him against Judah, but Collazo or Cintron is good becuase he can get used to the weight again.

BECUASE SHANE WILL KNOCK BALDOMIR OUT AND HE WILL GET MAYWEATHER NEXT..

IMAGINE IF DEL HOYA BEATS MAYWEATHER..YOU SHOULDNT SLEEP ON DELAHOYA HES A LITTLE OLDER BUT CAN NOW PUNCH WITH 2 HANDS BETTER THEN EVER IN HIS CAREER ,TWO HAND PUNCHERS ARE THE HARDEST TO FIGHT...

Sounds like Mosley is doing the same **** Oscar did when saying he would fight Floyd and then said he would fight Tito, I guess it runs in the business. Hope Mosley goes for Cintron and get his ass KOd.

Mosley hasn't been at Welter for a while, & Baldomir is a good tune-up with some name recognition.

Mosley KO's him in an impressive fashion, automatically that's seen as much more impressive that PBF, puts him as the man to beat at Welter, & he can call the shots with matches & command a higher price.
