im betting miranda is known more than calzaghe because miranda has been on FNF, telefutura, and now HBO as was stated above so there is a following there.....the fight needs to happen....

I'm not putting down Ouma or anything. Ouma is one of my favorite fighters, but he's not a middleweight. Mora doesn't deserve **** imo, but his size and reach would give the Ouma Taylor fits if Jermain doesn't use his jab enough. I think a lot of people underestimate how well this guy can box. The guy can box. A Taylor on the run against Mora is a close fight I think. Jermain needs to get on the ball. All that talent is going to waste atm, and it drives me crazy watching him fight like that. If Mora was to close Jermain's eye, it could be VERY close. It shouldn't be made, but I think it would be a lot closer than people think. I need to watch more of Mora though, but that's more of a reason why it shouldn't happen.

Taylor/Mora would be a quick sell out at the Staples Center and probably a very hyped fight since ESPN has a deal with Contender. ESPN will actually give promos for it, which they never do for big fights. It has plenty of potential for a huge fight.

Mora is a small middleweight though, has power issues and gets beaten soundly is sparring by Margarito (I know, it's sparring, but take it as circumstantial evidence).

Mora is a decent fighter but his overall physical ability does not match with Taylor.

Tony worked Mora over in sparring. Big time.

Winner of Abraham-Miranda 2 should get a shot at Jermain Taylor in the near future.

Ouma showed that he doesn't have to have the physical ability to compete with Taylor. I thought Mora would lose his last fight, or at least come close. The guy had a 4 or 5 inch advantage on him, and a good reach. Mora switched stances with ease, and was able to get inside him while avoiding big shots. Even though I was hoping he'd get beat, he impressed me a lot. It's not going to be long before Taylor has to fight a mandatory against Pavlik. I guess that's the price he'll pay for staying at 160. Pavlik will move away from middleweight after leaving these guys in the dust. Same thing will happen with Paul Williams

Taylor held Ouma a lot. If not for that, the fight would have been very up for grabs.

Mora has some skills, granted. We'll see what happens. I think he gets hit a little too flush sometimes which can bite his ass vs Taylor. Whoever that guy was that Mora faced, he's not as good as Taylor.

will miranda have a better chance of facing taylor as the ibf champ, or as a wbo or wbc mandatory?

and why the hell is he not even in the wba top ten. thats just plain mentalism.

I actually think Miranda will break Taylor in half. Just my opinion ya'll.
