Well, I don't think Pac is #1 P4P. If Ring puts him there, that's their prerogative and the P4P rankings have always been nothing but opinion. My opinion, however, is that Manny is #2 and Winky is #3. Floyd, until he proves otherwise, is the #1 in my eyes.
Getting back to the fight being in jeopardy, I do not think it is. All Manny has to do is not agree to terms with Barrera (or Arum with GBP) and the fight will go to purse bid unless Barrera vacates the title, in which case Manny would fight Humberto Soto (the #3 ranked after Morales in the WBC rankings) for the vacant title. I doubt Barrera gives up the title so look for the fight to go to purse bid if Manny chooses to fight Barrera.
The Valero fight is just dumb.

LoL at Mayweather must be thinking right now. He keeps saying "I'm the best ever who ever lived" then he sees Pac as #1 recognized P4P.
Mayweather should try to find the best opponent he can fight right now. Or else, he'd retire not the best (he said 1 more fight and that's it).

Pac deserves a shot at the title, promotional cat-fight or no.
Barrera needs to make this happen by telling Oscar what's up.
