' the degale and quigg fights were good '.....what ?

seriously ? watching degale fight some fat mexican who was collecting a pay check and a crooked howard foster stopping the fight as soon as degale touched him / quigg beating the **** out of a jap for 12 rounds were good ?

The only reason I bought it was because of the undercard to go with it. Wasn't particularly fussed about the main event but at least expected a good scrap.
meh i think most people were smart/skeptical enough to see it for what it was and not pay for it. if a few people got done so be it. Maybe they'll be wiser next time and won't support BS PPVs. It's like I and many others said before hand, the only reason this was PPV in the first place was because hearn reckoned people were dumb enough to pay for ****. If said people had kept their hands in their pockets we'd never see a PPV card like this again. but by supporting it you are supporting cr*p like this being PPV. So really the fans that paid/pay for crap deserve crap tbh.

Hopefully the lesson has been learned and ye won't pay for another BS PPV from hearn ... but I reckon people are damn slow to learn and damn quick to forget so ye will likely fork over more cash next time and then complain about being had the next day.

You got boxnation for november btw? If you have then fair enough ... but if you haven't man what are you thinking? Hopkins kovalev, pac Algeiri, saunders Eubank and fury chisora ... all for LESS than Cleverly bellew

The whole event was a major disappointment in terms of competitive fights.

The main event was terrible, horrible, almost unwatchable in terms of technical quality.

I don't know what the PPV figures were like, but Eddie Hearn picked a few pockets last weekend (including mine).

Eddie tested the water with Haye vs Harrison and he got his toes burnt, but never the less, that is the standard that he's willing to operate at. Now he's lowering the bar again by pushing through Box Office events without Box Office fighters to see how much fans will swallow.

I appreciate that he want's to make himself, Sky and his fighters as much as possible, but he's risking alienating fans by taking this route. And as fans, those who allowed themselves to be rolled over this time, would do well to remember that they do have alternatives.

Nobody needs to let this happen again. And we certainly don't have to let Matchroom impose this as a standard.

Hearn does seem too focused on his fighters and not enough on delivering good fights for the fans. Far too many uncompetitive fights this year on matchroom cards.
