Ievgen "The Ukrainian Lion" Khytrov

I have to say that I am impressed with Khytrov. I considered Louis Rose to be a hot prospect before his first round ko loss to him. Rose had upset several undefeated fighters before that fight.

Rose was a solid prospect, had an impressive fight with Paul Mendez who's another solid prospect. I was shocked Khytrov got to him so quickly. It was frustrating to see Khytrov step way back in his opposition level for this last fight (and that's counting Coley as the orig opponent).

I remember Ricky Hatton once talking about throwing bodyshots as opponents move off the ropes as thats when they tend to take a deep breath and stop bracing. Khytrov showed a good example here.

Good performance and finish. Definitely not the finished article, but you can really feel the power in his shots.
