The only thing that puts me off Khytrov is he catches too many punches and doesn't really display the ring generalship I'd expect from such a talented amateur. Having said that, it's most likely down to the level of opposition he's fighting.

Ievgen Khytrov will be getting an early start in 2015. He's fighting Aaron Coley on January 9th on ShoBox.

Khytrov was recently signed to a co-promotional pact with DiBella Entertainment after a short run with Iron Mike Productions.

He also recently signed with Al Haymon.

Coley has a mark of 9-0-1(6 KO's) and this will be an eight-rounder.

I have to say that I am impressed with Khytrov. I considered Louis Rose to be a hot prospect before his first round ko loss to him. Rose had upset several undefeated fighters before that fight.
