    What next for Khan

I don't think Peterson is going to give Khan a rematch straight away. He has had a series of tough fights and could do with an easy pay day or 2 before fighting Khan again. If that happens what does Khan do?
Going into the Peterson fight Khan was talking about moving up to WW after the fight. That was on the basis he won.
Peterson exposed Khan's complete lack of inside fighting skills and inability to cope with good pressure infighting. The blue print is now out on how he can be defeated and the likes of Rios, Ortiz and Bradley must really fancy their chances against him.
Khan said himself there is nobody to fight at LWW but at WW they are bigger and hit harder and his height advantage will become less.
What does he do now? I don't see an obvious path forward.

he needs a reality check, i see him staying at LWW and clocking up numerous wins over his typical type of opponent if he cant get the rematch if he dose however i see him losing again but this time more convincingly, He realy has to go back to the drawing board and learn to fight inside if he is ever going to be taken seriously by the top guys at LWW or WW.

You could be right but a lot of what happens has to be tied with the terms of the contract with Golden Boy. They are not going to be paying him over a $Million a fight putting him with jokers especially with no title on the line.

I think this fight like the Prescot fight has given him a wake up call to be honest..Just because your in Freddys camp does not mean your a done deal! He is young and has time on his side, He should take stock of what's happening around him..He has all the tools and he has the ability so I am guessing it has to be his mind set? I think he should stay at LWW and learn a bit more as when and if he moves up in weight, The guy's tend to hit a lot harder..
Seeing him making the same mistake and staying on the ropes where he was getting nailed was not good to see, He didn't even have any answers, Well he did slightly but took to long to adjust.

        Stay at LWW

Would be great if he fought Bradley instead, otherwise he can't/won't downgrade from Peterson imo.

He has to stay at LWW for me. To suggest there are no challenges left for him at LWW now would be ridiculous.

There is the Peterson rematch. Hopefully they get in the ring again, but I don't see the negotiations running so smooth. Khan has the backing of Golden Boy but no longer has the leverage of the titles, but both guys are gonna be claiming they are a big draw.

There is a fight with Bradley too, although Peterson has every right to chase a fight with him too!

Khan is still very much in the mix, both fighters fought great in what was a close contest, even though Khan's attitude reeked post-fight.

I'll be disappointed if he moves up to WW. He isn't struggling with the weight, and has at least a couple of bits of unfinished business at LWW.

Alright fella, I just typed in Vitali Klitschko vs. Dereck Chisora on Google Images. I saw a video of the presser and Klitschko was trying to get all friendly with Chisora by putting his arm around him, thought there has gotta be an image of that!

What the hell is the rush with this kid? He wants to be p4p and out of the sport by his late twenties, which is a novel concept, but harder in practice. There are some serious challenges left for him in 140, if he goes in against the likes or Ortiz with the inside game he exhibited (mostly in the later rounds against Lamont) he'll get blasted away. He does have some defence, but he takes way, way too many shots for a guy who is designed around speed.

Plus, as the above poster said, the blueprint is out. Every one of his next few opponents will be aware that high tempo, rough and tumble inside tactics will ruffle him.

Hope he gets that inside game sorted, his motivation and drive is very credible.
