What next for Khan

I think the first thing he should do is get a new trainer. Roach can't develope him any better than what he has. He needs to get with a good defensive trainer like Floyd,Sr. Oscar became a more complete fighter when he hooked up with Floyd. I don't think he beats Vargas without him.
Khan has all the tools, but to be an elite fighter, he will have to learn how to fight on the inside and learn good defense. The only defense he truly has now are his legs. That will not work with fighters that know how to cut off the ring.Once he gets tired, he has to go to the ropes. That's where he will get pounded by rugged inside fighters. Can you imagine Ortiz hitting him on the ropes with some of the same shots Peterson hit him with? He would get crushed.
As of now, he has been exposed.I think Peterson would start the rematch off far more aggressive and make it an ugly fight. I think he works his way on the inside and start ****ing the body from round 1 til the end. The only chance Amir has is to catch him coming in. But, I think Lamont is too crafty to get caught with anything big. That goes for Bradley and Ortiz as well. Unless Amir learns his craft much better in the near future, I don't think he rises to the next level. OR MAYBE HE'LL SIGN WITH BOB ARUM AND FIGHT GUYS THAT ARE TAILOR MADE FOR HIM...LIKE ANOTHER FIGHTER WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE!!!

Right now it is going to be interesting to see what his next move will be. I don't see Peterson giving him a rematch straight away and even if he does it is a 50 50 fight.

Besides, its Prescott who has been calling for the rematch over the past year or two, probably due to the fact that Khan went on to bigger and better things and Prescott got exposed.
If the fight was made, I fancy Khan to win, possibly by stoppage. What he has learnt under Freddie Roach, Prescott stylistically should now be good for Khan.
Looks like the Peterson rematch is gonna be made though, which is even better!

I agree with you about training with a guy like Floyd sr. I think it would help him out remendously learning to have a better defence and good counterpunching. I do think he will face Peterson again but it will be awhile before it gets made I think Peterson knows golden boy is desperate to make this fight and Peterson will ask for alot of money for the rematch.

I don't feel Peterson has to give Khan a rematch though on the basis of how the fight went. It was a close fight on the cards, and we can't go having rematches for every fight that is a majority or split decision. He might wanna do it from a financial perspective, or to give the fans another opportunity to see again what was a quality fight.
If there wasn't the involvement of the unauthorised official, I wouldn't begrudge Peterson chasing up a fight with Bradley or Morales, or giving one of the high ranked challengers a shot.
