At last I checked BoxRec to be sure. Stevenson did lose to Bobick in 1971, but I couldn't find another American fighter beating him... Who's he?

          Thanks!

Wondering why BoxRec has only a partial list of Teofilo's fights. The loss against Payne does not appear.

This bout was televised. There are recordings of this bout and the decision of the judges. That ended up being Craigs claim to fame. It would be something to be proud of though. He did that!........Rockin'

              - -Boxrec a work in progress never attempted before in the shady boxing biz, hence a lack of completion and perfection.

Kent Green KOed AMA Cassius as his main claim to fame. Later after Ali fame they had a locked door session, the results of which seem to have never been revealed.

              Anyone?

Todays fighter HOF Julian "The Hawk" Jackson , one of the most devastating KO punchers I have seen.55-6 record with 49 KOs.A three-time world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBA super welterweight title from 1987 to 1990, and the WBC middleweight title twice between 1990 and 1995.

That's like saying every successful amateur will always be a great pro.

                  bullsh%t

don't mean jack against good experienced pros.
                  and over 10+ rounds.

The only correlation is they are done favours as pros form judges and refs.
matched to make them look good. and given tons of free
                  publicity by the media.

lets not forget bumachenko got destroyed by an old shop worn brawler that has like 20 losses and gets heavily knocked down in every other fight.
Everything I stated is a fact... Im not weighing in on Lomo, that is your issue lol. Fact: amateur boxing has different goals, different circumstances.

Fact: there is a correlation between success as a professional and amateur.

Its not so much what a professional will do... Of course if someone is training for a 10 round fight they will have the advantage in a ten round fight. Its the connection between the two sports, and the probability that a great fighter, like Stephenson could train for a professional fight if he been given the chance.
