    . . . . . . . RIP Billy!

    - -Never struck me as the kind of guy who would revel in a another's death.

Lewis as a convenient scapegoat ignores Billy was wearing NY commish approved gloves approved by Billy's dad.

Whatever, I won't mourn him, but facts is facts...

Since you have a passion for this topic I will accept the responsibility for my post (my revelation) and ask you to explain you accusation against Collins corner.

But first, I am sorry I disappoint, but I am glad he will never again effect the outcome of a prize fight or place another fighter at risk.

I do not mourn predators, nor do I forgive evil. Mistakes yes, all men fail (even you I'll bet), but evil? No!

So anyway will you explain what you are referring to by "commish approved gloves" ?

Were the fighters wearing different gloves?

              - -Dude, Modern Boxing 101!

Gloves traditionally approved by corners, now accentuated by resident commishes as were Restos.

              Settled Law of the Land!

Lewis had no business being at ringside for any fighter or even being allowed to coach. Pulling horse hair out of gloves, fixing water bottles with his special water, the sport is a better place without him.

                  - -As far back as several years ago fighters were allowed their gateraids, and going back centuries to English bareknuck origins, fighters were allowed their fav Liquors. Ie; whiskey and schnapps being the front runners.

Let's not get too sniffy and high minded to ignore our history under our nose.
