Very true. He was indeed a good boxer, shame he had a tendency to bleed the way he did. He will be missed.

My earliest recollection of him was a picture I saw of him having knocked Jacopucci through the ropes. The Italian had a completely vacant look on his face and he died a couple of days later, and as I recall that fight it was the reason for European title fights going down to 12 rounds.
