    Rid**** Bowe vs Ron Lyle

This article says that Lyle stops Bowe. Do you agree?

Lyle wouldn't even be a suitable sparring partner for Bowe.

Bowe had a very short prime. Very lazy athlete in training. Lyle although less talented always came into the ring ready and ripped. Both at their best I’d go with Bowe. However if it’s anything but the best Bowe he runs the risk of getting mauled. Lyle had hellacious power in both fists.

If we are talking Bowe at his best (Holyfield I) he takes Lyle apart; IMO the fighters are at two different skill levels.

It seems to be taking the Saad fight seriously; it was posted/written in 2016 a year before Sergey Kovalev learned how to lose; and the writer, like so many Americas today, comes across as ***** for all things Eastern European/Russian.

Thats it. A prepped and ready bowe wins, if not he could get beaten.

Actually watch their fights and you will see for yourself.

I get it, guys like COetzer made things ugly for Bowe. He stunned Bowe, and Bowe resorted to low blows to end the fight. But Lyle was much wilder than that and less composed. Sure, he was bigger and hit harder, but Bowe hit harder than Jerry Quarry. See how that works?

Really, Bowe was pretty much was designed to pick THAT type of fighter apart. Guys who applied pressure well troubled him more... but still lost.

The safest way to beat Bowe was to move. He could be out-jabbed. So if you avoided his wheelhouse, you'd probably win. Sound like Lyle? Yeah, DEFINITELY not.

GOlota gave Bowe a life-altering beatdown that would have gone down as one of the finest performances in HEavyweight history, if he didn't go skitzo... but Golota was an absolute monster compared to Lyle, and far, far more skilled. Did I mention he was more skilled?

The only reason this fight is being proposed is because Boxing fans are idiots. They like guys like Lyle and hate guys like Bowe. Maybe not Bowe specifically because he has a ridiculous amount of groupies (one of the weirdest fan bases this sport has - and that is saying a lot), but his exactly the kinda story fans like to sh.it on.

Most realize how lazy Bowe was. So lazy that he threw away what could today be considered great hwt talent. At his best he beats Lyle but Bowes best was short lived. Lyle had the power to ko anyone.
