      I'm going to go with another fighter I always enjoyed watching; RJJ: 1994-98.

      I think most agree that post heavy weight was a turning point with him, so I could listen to anything pre 2003. I felt his best was at SMW, so starting in '94 encompasses that complete run.

        I think after he bounced back from the lost to Briscoe he hit his stride. I dunno how we prove it (or not), but I'd say Hagler hit his prime by '76 or so. I believe he was still in peak form heading into the Hearns fight, but that obviously took a lot out of him.

          I agree. 168 was his best weight.

          But watching him against Ruiz, I get the impression Cruiserweight would have been just as perfect a fit, if he could have stayed there.

          He had such an insane speed advntage over your average man of that size, and was still a big puncher. His style was perfect for that weight, too, since he made such efficient use of energy.

          The weight cut and the piss-tests, cost us some of Jones' best years.
