    Famous Punches In Boxing History

Some single punches attain a sort of immortality on their own. To me the most famous punch in boxing is Susie-Q smashing Walcott. Second most famous is Robby's one punch KO of Fullmer with a lefhook, by hairy Moslem.

You might disagree. You might find other punches more famous than these two, or at least have ideas on other punches that gained a separate fame too.

Whaddya got? I mean besides aids, herpes and crabs.

Hey, has you boys seen my new Moslem clit leveler. Its a beauty, and real fast, too.

          You are nominating this punch?

Or are you saying it is the one called The Smash?

Maybe the original punch with a name has yet to be surpassed. The solar plexus punch of Fitz. In fact, is the solar plexus punch indeed the first punch with a name?

Didn't Gatti come from behind to knock out an opponent with a single left hook?

"The smash" was a hybrid hook/uppercut that Donovan "Razor" Ruddock threw with pretty devastating effect, most notably against Micheal Dokes. I would call it a truly famous punch, but the nickname always stuck in my min after the Ruddock-Dokes fight. If you haven seen it check it out. One of the most brutal knockouts in heavyweight history.
