    - -Manny was fired the year before Benn.

Dunno who were the clowns in his corner that night, but they royally screwed up.

So here you are trying to blame an old medieval and brutal sport because of the actions of a certain vile person.
No wonder why your country is ****ed at the moment and in a state of civIl war because another person (you) will not accept your responsible for your own actions..
Go move to Portland , chicago and put your full face mask on....your fit right in there

If you claim McClellan got karma for fighting dogs then England has karma coming for their long history of fighting dogs too, right?

        Let's be fair.

no I’m not saying he got karma for fighting dogs I’m saying he was a horrible human being in general and although I don’t wish any harm on anybody he will be one person I won’t shed a tear for ..I’m saying to you how it is

Or, as the card player's superstition goes, Benn "held over," him.

He still knocked Benn down twice(many refs would have called in round 1) badly damaged him and finished Benn as an elite fighter so I wouldn't say Benn had his number.

McClellan was so keen on looking for the KO in the first few rounds that he was mostly spent the rest of the fight. He was way too aggressive and energy wasting with no plan B.

If he had a measured approach with Manny keeping him under control he should have won by stoppage in the mid rounds. He was faster, more powerful, more athletic, better chin and so on. More skilled too, Gerald had a tremendous jab.

McClellan was actually training his own trainer during training camp In the docu of this fight there's even footage of Gerald scolding his trainer for not holding the pad rights etc. Pretty insane situation for a world champion, I have never seen such a thing since.

In other words, McClellan was not only worthless and cruel but ****** to boot.

Watched that fight today on YouTube ..although benn did well and took huge amounts of punishment to come through it he should have been disqualified for constant rabbit punching..but the ref was weak and that’s down to him to control it.
It was a rough and dirty fight and as the rounds progressed it became obvious something was not right with McClennan.
His mannerisms and his gum shield hanging out we’re not right and the constant blinking were also alarm bells.
After the fight I know benn was also in a very bad way and needed hospital treatment.
McClennan was the better fighter that night but Benn had the most will and it’s one of the very few occasions where the better fighter lost to someone with more will and desire

It was The Hawk that layed the foundations of G-Man's brain problems. Gerald was the smoothest fighter I've ever seen and his power was unimaginable. I prefer not to even have an opinion on the dog fighting/brain injury/*karma* side of things. The fight itself was one of the best ever.
