But Lewis definitely struggled w/ lesser men than Fury. Fury's style in particular would be a massive headache for Lewis.

We can argue the particulars in other threads, but you can't look at Lewis' career and find evidence that he can do what Fury does, or that he'd beat Fury. To his credit, he has a legacy that Fury doesn't and his offensive skills are some of the division's best ever, while Fury has none.
The bolded particularly excellent point. Fury comes from another era and some of the paradigm that indirectly affected him even shows. Also Lewis never fought a man like Fury. His mobility and...If one watches the bare knuckle Gypsy fighters, one interesting characteristic is they fall down but get up quite a bit... with Fury he goes down occasionally but collects himself and gets back up. Fury also moves very well, and I don't mean well for a big man, I mean I have seen lightweights that look heavier on their feet.

So in a head to head... I do think Fury would be hell for Lewis to handle, if Lewis could even handle Fury. He just needs to fight more and get a fight with AJ eventually.

      - -AJ can beat a diminished Fury.

When Ali came back he took on 2 quality contenders before Frazier. Fury took on a pair of noncontenders and Deyonce ain't close to the Quality Frazier represents. Furys next fight will be more telling as to his actual fighting condition

When suddenly a lightening bolt strikes, but not just any bolt!! a quantum unifier, a bolt that makes two distinct conscious en****** one and in that second the bolt hits Houdinini and Queeny.... BAMMMM!!!! the next thing you know they are joined at the arse and piehole. The movie is about how they must now get along with each other... Being that their arse and mouth are joined and all.

Its a touching film where both men overcome many obstacles in order to post about each other from back in the days and all...I guarantee it will tear up even the most hardened individual.

        You're a character bro.

Tyson Fury would make a great movie someday, especially if he unifies and defends his titles for a decade or so.

My hat's off to ALi for fighting Quarry and Bonavena. He could have fed on scrubs for a few years, waiting to Joe to further fade while reacclimating himself to the big leagues. it would've been more sensible and certainly forgivable.

that being said, those two men were never going to beat Ali. Even one w/ 3 years of supposed ring rust. And they were perfect preparation for Frazier. the fact that Ali stopped them proves he was never that far gone from his pre-exile best.

Fury conversely fought two bums who did nothing to prepare him for Wilder. He fought Wilder cold. That was a ****ing suicide mission. Wider is faaaaar more dangerous than Frazier. You might as well be comparing Henry Armstrong to Wilder, too, if you're gonna compare little iddy biddy Frazier to Beyonce.

I thought about this: Really and truly Lewis never fought a guy like Fury... It seems they were always throwing a puncher at Lewis, I guess that is what was around... Think about it... Tua, Golota, Grant, Holy, Tyson, Briggs, etc.

Tyson has to find a way to fight AJ and Wilder again, Its all about legacy because he could do what Lewis did and beat the best then wait for the rest.
