    The best fight I've ever seen was Ali-Frazier I.

      If you want thrills, you can't go wrong with Bobby Chacon. Chacon is one of the most exciting fighters of all-time, if not the most. Props to Yogi for mentioning Chacon-Limon IV.

      Others that are worth mentioning:

      Chacon - Boza Edwards II
      Saad Muhammad - Lopez II...Pretty much any Chacon/Saad Muhammad fight.
      Barrera - Morales I

            oh please ali frazier III was 5 times better. the last few rounds of the first fight was a bunch of clinches and grabbing.

                  Nah. Both men had better handspeed, and Ali was on his toes more in the first fight.

                    Ali was not on his toes more in the first fight. He fought flat-footed most of the fight.

                    The "greatest" fight ever goes to Ali-Frazier I in my mind. Two undefeated, undisputed heavyweight champions going head to head. The hype was enormous, and the fight was absolutely brilliant. Lots of action, fairly close, lots of skill.

                    The "best" fight in terms of action, I always say either Gatti-Ward I, or Barrera-Morales I. Both are amazing fights, all four guys have massive hearts. Runners-up include Ali-Frazier III, Bowe-Holyfield I.
