he did indeed! A great fighter when he was on...inconsistent at times. Lithuanian dynamite! Great Boston accent also, really sounded like a tough guy.

By the way I think Sharkey beat Harry Wills, the Black Panther.

They say that Sharkey was getting the better of Dempsey before Dempsey allegedly caught Sharkey with a hook while Sharkey was arguing with the ref. Dempsey was one of Sharkey's idols. By the time Sharkey fought Louis he was past it, he lasted 3 rounds.
