Which 80s superstars are the sports best ambassadors today?

By ambassador I think of a boxer who is conducting himself well, makes himself available to the public, doesn't sound punchy and generally behaves like a good role model for the kids.

I have made a poll including some of the superstars, but don't let the options be a limit.

Larry Holmes for me.

Always comes across great in interviews, knowledgeable about the sport and IIRC doing pretty well financially

Gerry Cooney has been a very good ambassador of the sport in my opinion.

I always thought of Alexis Arguello as a good ambassadors for the sport.

Admittedly the way he died was not role model material but during his career he was always a gentleman and good sport.
Very likable athlete.

I think Aaron Pryor and Leon Spinks lead exemplary lives.

Yeah. Being geographically in Scandinavia, I don't get to see or much about the former stars in general, but I remember that Cooney wanted to make some kind of boxers union. FIST or something. I have no idea how it went as I haven't really heard anything about it since god knows when.

He was a top fighter here on tv. Also made a lot of tv appearances including television ads. Many of his earlier title defenses were not big here until he won the super feather belt, but by the time he was lightweight champ all his fights were televised on national tv.
