Ambassadors cannot say "do dat," or "Round twell."

Note: an ambassador can lick his lips too much.

Spinks and Mancini good, Ray Leonard combines them both. High acheiver with peerless boyish qualities.

      I also like Sean O'Grady.

I think the late Vernon Forrest had one too.

Sorry BattlingNelson, I misread the title and missed the word "today". Today I would say Leonard might lead in this category. He has had his ups and downs as a man but normally presents himself well and is possibly the best spoken of the list.

I voted for Leonard and having known him for close to 3 decades, he is a man who has done a lot of soul searching and managed to turn his life around. He could easily have stayed on the path of drugs and alcohol but he helped shape his life for a better future. Now he lives a well adjusted life, money is no worry and he is a great ambassador for our sport.

                    Tommy Hearns is the least.

                    Ray Leonard probably the most.

Sugar ray leonard is articulate, well spoken , no signs of ring wars , admitted it should have been a win for hearns and not a draw in the rematch and to open yourself like that in his own biography shows guts and humility ...plus he's stll a very wealthy man .. The sugar man gets my vote
