Also, if you're including David Haye you need to include Ezra Sellers, who was clearly a harder puncher than Haye at cruiser. Watch their respective performances against Carl Thompson to see what I'm talking about.
cool never seen him b4 thanks!

What weight was Tyson when he started pro? He was about 19?

I'm not sure. Probably around that, definitely. In which case, worth a shout?

Puncher whos power carried up the divisions/weight the best?

So guys who are small that could take out men much bigger than their natural size.

For example Tyson is one, he didnt climb the divisions but he could have easily started at cruiserweight and he KOed guys with huge weight and size advantages

Another example would be hearns his power carried up the divisions pretty well consiering he went from welterweight? to bloody cruiser weight.

Defo id put him at 2nd behind Shavers and knock Haye off 5th spot

To me Tyson is the perfect puncher. Super heavy super fast hands, no one has such a good combination of speed and power in their hands. It doesn't get better than that

Here are the fights. Check out the punch that Sellers uses to drop Thompson at the end of the fight. Serious power.

                David Haye
                Dmitri Kudryashov
                Evander Holyfield
                Joe Louis
                Marco Huck
                Michael Moorer
                Herbie Hide
                Marciano (why not?)

There are tons of big punchers in the division right now who could be considered. Chakhiev, Kudryashov (already mentioned), Lebedev, Kalenga, Makabu and Huck are all huge punchers. Ezra Sellers is in my opinion the hardest punching cruiserweight ever. He knocked Carl Thompson unconscious with a single punch, where Haye punched himself out on Thompson's iron dome. The man had freakish power.
Marciano was a harder hitter at below 200 than Holyfield no doubt. Much more focus on direct impact while Holyfield was a speed volume guy ....Holyfield at 215 plus??? Then it gets complicated. Overall great list from what I can see, would have to actually take interest in this topic to pin point great cruiserweight punchers, since we are going by that weight which does include SOME past boxers but Marciano is certainly one....louis possibly and I say possibly b/c we are going by that weight and how they were able to k.o guys they should have easily and that was not the case amny times, and that goes for Marciano as well but he hit harder than Louis.

MASS is always in the equation in combat sports no matter WHAT sport silly boy! I can tell you this myself weighing nearly 20 pounds heavier since I joined on here....see logic and experiance kid....goes a LONG way. My guess if you take your Kock riding avatar off and replaced it with an actual pic of yourself it would look something that of Alfered E. Newman of mad ****zine in compared to my ACTUAl pic ...so why bother getting clowned here on a daily basis with me????? I guess you are bored and I have a lot of time to kill!
