I was already a fan of Danny's brother Ernie (Indian Red) when I saw him fight as a skinny 18 y/o amateur. Danny was a sensation as a pro winning all of his early fights by KO, very often with a single right hand. He was very meek and humble looking and acting. You would never guess his right had dynamite. Just youtube his fights with Malvarez or Endo to see how atrocious his defense was and how deadly his right was. If he fought now he would be an HBO favorite and much richer than he became in the 1970's.
