Can't seperate a few their so different in their approach to winning.
Ike & Duran share methods but Armstrong & Pep are opposites that get the job done.
Heavyweights can beat each other if they bring power so Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Holmes, Dempsey etc.....are capable of winning against anyone so picking one to win is hoping & guessing. If you loose to high caliber competition it has little meaning to me. Marcano reigned king in a weak era and was undefeated
and he deserves credit but that accomplishment doesn't project him over others. Heavys are a different outlook, its an "open class" filled with doubts!

I'd pick Marvin Hagler for middleweight and I thought Benny Leonard was considered the best lightweight of all time.

I'd pick Marvin Hagler for middleweight and I thought Benny Leonard was considered the best lightweight of all time.

Both duran and Benny were long time Champs. Duran had a better ko percentage while Benny s is said to have an edge of being in a better lightweight era. As far as career accomplishments I go with duran for his success in higher weight classes. Leonard was forced into a comeback because of the stock market crash beat low level comp but was beaten by Jimmy Maclaren.
