Wlad has the genetic gift of height, he's learned to use from Manny.
He is one dimentional and has never learned to "accept punches" he flinches and flails his arms in front of him like a "green beginner" would do.
If he were 6'2" he would have had 6 KO loses and a few more decision looses by now.
I give him credit for his successes but lets not go to far because his competition is extremely weak in talent and willingness!
Lewis KO's him early and often if they go around more than once.
Lewis has more skills even though both have questionable chins.

The problem with that is Steward said Wlad is the more talented fighter ,where do you see Lewis as the better skilled ?Wlad has overall better skills fom his jab to his left hook, the only thing Lewis has on him is his upper cut.

Lewis might have more dimensions as a fighter, but he isn't as clinical and effective as Vladimir. Lewis got into wars, Vlad never does.

Lewis recognized options and had some skills to utilize them. For example he studied an oponents jab and performed options against it like a right hand over it or a double jab against it. I don't see Wlad recognizing his opponents form and countering with punches other than a jab.
You never see him work one side of the body to break down an opponent or simply to open him up for options.

Listen kids your not going to get anything but nice quotes from any traimner about their student or project. Trainers don't give away weaknesses voluntarily an opposing trainer needs to figure that out on their own.
I see alot of weaknesses in Wlad & Lennox but you do need an opponent capable of performance to be able to capitalize.
Most would have to get under and inside against them and thats not easy even against basis skills.
I give Lewis a big edge because I like his eye/hand better and his reactions to in coming shots. Wlad has never seemed to be able to relax in a fight he has a tension about him that would be detrimental to him against quality thinking fighters. Sorry kids but Wlads opponents are awful, I hate to say that about them but these are basicly home grown with built up records.
They look like robots and seemed programed instead of "reactive"! All of these era heavies all seem to struggle with punches thrown. Now its not easy to get used to this but good solid competitors do!

Never saw Wlad in person but did see Lennox when he was 17 yrs old. He was a student and eager to learn he was awkward but had a center of gravity that was impressive for his size.
It looked to me that all their knowledge was never realized once a fight began, neither one had a patient look about them and they looked to repeat only basic rudiments. Simple fighters, yet effective against lesser talents.

Many regard Vlad as a bigger talent than Vitali, who gave Lennox a world of trouble.

Someone beat the hell out of Vitali face enough to tko him, was it the ref?
Stopping your opponent is the deciding factor even if the opponent is ahead on the cards, thats boxing.
You entitled to your feelings I'm just evaluating what I see thats not to say Wlad can't beat Lennox as we all know a good punch can change a fight in a second. My break down tells me Lennox has more options because he has more skills. Again Wlad may have more knowledge than what he performs but I don't see it.
I remember watching video of Ricky Hatton training in a gym and thinking this guy has high skills and high work rate but when he stepped up they weren't eveident. He couldn't perform the techniques he was using in training, now sometimes the opponent prevents that and other times a fighter just can't pull the trigger, it happens more than you'd think.

That was Vitalis first big fight ,he never fought an elite fighters prior to Lewis ,he also took the fight on 2 weeks notice and almost k.od Lewis in the second round having the experience factor was a big advantage for Lewis .Not sure where you see Lewis having better reaction time Wlad is faster and has the better footwork. If Lewis wins its becase he can adapt outside of a jab not because hes more skilled .

..............."Not sure where you see Lewis having better reaction time".....

ofcourse you don't, you don't know what your looking at! You know NOTHING!

Joe Louis's first big fight was against a more experienced fighter , he lost too! What you do after the fact is important once you experience failure.

Because he doesn't have a fighters heart. And also because he knows he can't take a punch.

Vitali toughed it out vs Lewis. Wlad would have been folded like a deckchair and probably retired after taking the uppercut Vitali did.

How about his wins over Povetkin and Haye, how do you think they'll be seen years down the line?. They were credible opponents on paper and he dealt with them with ease and that takes skill. Hypothetically speaking if he goes on to beat Fury and Wilder now? two younger & what I'll call elite talents (not everyone agrees).
They are good wins. Along with Peter and Byrd, his best. However, did they really come to win? Both Haye and Povetkin had been messing about for years. And they didn't fight like winners in my opinion. You can excuse Povetkin I suppose because Wlad was like an octopus in that one.

Brewster was blind on one eye when they fought the rematch.
