Razor Ruddock would have probably KO'd young Wlad who was running like a headless chicken around the ring against skillless never ranked Purrity.

In the first 20 seconds of Lewis v Tyson, as Tyson charged in Lewis hit him with 4 hard uppercuts and a left hook which sent a message that dictated the rest of the fight.

Wlad would probably not have been able to KO the Tyson that Lewis fought because he's not as aggressive and doesn't have the skills to take advantage of openings. Tyson also still had a knockout punch and a good chin which would have further scared Wlad to take the initiative.

He would just paw, stiffarm and hold that Tyson to a UD. However Tyson would have a good chance for a KO win just like Corrie Sanders(who was at a similar age and place in career when he destroyed Wlad).

Wladimir would have defeated that version of Holyfield fairly easily.
Yeah he would murder Razor Ruddock. They had around the same amount of fights when Lennox KO2d Razor Ruddock, a ranked world contender for a final elminator who had 3 losses (2 of which were to Mike Tyson) and Wladimir fought a journeyman with 13 losses who had never beaten a live soul in his life and got brutally stopped and staggered all around the ring.

He would have murdered Ruddock doe!

Also, surely he would have knocked out Tyson in 2 rounds no problem. Forget that Wlad has had 3 fights in one and a half decade that lasted 2 rounds or less, one of which was his loss to Sanders - A former Lewis sparring partner.

But yeah, your impeccable knowledge shines through.

if lewis was fighting opponents below level of the worst ever corrie sanders, like wlad keeps doing (pianeta etc, what a horrible level of opposition!), he could fight on tillhe was 50.

quantity means nothing except that you are well managed and committed and self motivated.

Evidently prime is big word to most on here as they just don't get it...a prime Wlad would k.o Ruddock easily, and I have a prime Ruddock as a top 3 fighter in the 90's at his best even though Tyson kind of derailed his career.and he wasn't dominant in the 90's but felt he may have beat Holyfield and Bowe in 90/91...Wlad was an offensive machine in the early 2000's I think he would've k.od Ruddock as he had size on Ruddock and Ruddock struggeled with guys who outsized him, he made one bad fight against a south paw in sanders that he didn't have one in his training camp for some bizzare reason ...the best Wlad from 2006 to present easily beats anyone lewis fought...Tyson would be favored over Wlad along with vitali that's about it.Lewis would be a pick'em fight and i'll take stewards words over anyones,he felt towards the end Wlad would beat Lewis, and that's why Lewis to this day shows Wlads opponents possible ways to beat him out of jealousy.I see Wlad as a giant version of Pep and Ali combined defense wise ,if you go look at the highly touted Pep who is credited as the greatest defensive fighter of all time to many ,you will see that without being so blind to Wlads skills. Some like to talk pokemon some have actual more credibility than others when it comes to boxing however.

This guy Jugnuts is a broken record. Mentally, he is about thirteen, I have no idea what his chronological age is, but near that, I expect. I suggest skipping over his posts and seeing what others have to say.

His drivel should not be glorified by responses anymore. Ignored, he will dry up and go away.

This guy is still crying that Lewis beat up Tyson and is widely regarded as a greater fighter than Tyson.
Yep not to mention crying over his countryman Lewis being stopped by McCall in their first fight.

Pep throws one ,two combos then immediately clinches ,holds ,and spins opponents ,he even traps the arms ,like Wlad given the opponents only one hand in a position they can do little damage ,the only thing Wlad doesnt do that Pep did was run in circles and duck and weave under punches but basically they are the same blue print of the one two clinch and its not really debatable its on video as with his Ali like smothering when the opponents come forward....see ray you were the one to pick Pep as the greatest defensive fighter of all time, always bad mouthing Wlad ,but you foolishly over looked the FACT they are extremely stylized after one another which is a main reason Wlad doesnt get hit flush often and now are eating your words and know it ,none of your smoke and mirrors beats video footage........

Lewis didnt have steward in the first fight and most likely over looked McCall, whos trainer at that time was Steward .In the rematch Steward was with Lewis and the out come was different,a fighter is only as good as his trainer if they are going to be there best both go hand in hand.
