who's the best fighter in history you would pick Wlad to beat

Who do you feel would be the greatest fighter in history that Wlad could beat. I'm not talking about easy wins over guys like jack johnson or dempsey, which matchup would be the most impressive and in your opionion he wins

Firstly, Johnson and Dempsey would hardly be "easy wins" for Klitschko. I think Jack Johnson is probably the best HW in history that I'd pick Wladimir to beat.

After that, probably someone like Floyd Patterson.

It would be a minor miracle if Wlad got out of the first three rounds with Joe Louis. Klitschko is nowhere near sound enough defensively to avoid the dynamite Joe would hit him with.

Louis has been tagged and ko'd before,, not out of the realm of possibility that he boxes with wlad, but due to size difference and wlad's skill level with the jab, he could keep louis at bay, and land a big right,,,, Like i said before, i think louis would have a hard time exploiting wlad's weaknesses, i think a frazier, tyson, holyfield would be much more effective vs Wlad IMO..
Not saying louis gets easily ko'd, just saying that for the sake of debate, that louis doesnt matchup well vs wlad as other greats like ali, holmes, lewis do.. I know that louis ko'd alot of really big guys, but none were as skilled as wlad, wlad uses his size and reach very well, and does have great power.
I think it would take a perfect fight from wlad to beat louis but if i had to choose the one GREAT heavy that wlad matches up well with, it would be louis..
I think wlad has a better chance of beating louis, than he does beating an ali, foreman, tyson, holyfield, johnson, frazier, lewis, holmes.
If the question is what is the greatest heavy that wlad could possible beat, i think louis for style wise would give wlad the best chance to win.

Patterson sounds about right. If Floyd had a better chin even that would be questionable but he didn't have a better chin so.....

I dont think Marciano would be competitive.

Nor Johnson or Dempsey. But id rank Marciano over them.

There are fighters greater than Marciano that id see as being beatable for Wlad, but i wouldnt favour him outright.

Foreman and Tyson are the only fights i think would be one-sided against Wlad.
