Answer...the Puritty fight. He also looked tired in other fights until Manny taught him the jab and grab technique. Wlad wasn't made for a firefight, that was obvious.

And there is more evidence of a tainted bottle by Panama Lewis than of Wlad being drugged.

- - Never watched the Puritty fight. Wlad fought at a high pace for 10 rounds, but got dropped suddenly end of 11th when after replicating a punching bag, Puritty basically pulled a sucker punch, same thing that Bonecrusher pulled on Tyson in their last round.

Wlad never got his legs under him, got dropped the start of the 12th round and Ama trainer stopped the bout. Manny would've had Wlad on defense the last rounds, but the Ks were marketed as invincible KO machines who were never trained in the nuances of professional boxing.

There are no fighters of note I know of who turned pro with ama trainers. Wlad eventually went with Manny, but Vit stayed with his who is now a Ukrainian legend as your spread sheet shows...geesh, I'm wasting my time!

Pryor beat Hearns in the amatuers. He and Leonard sparred at the pan am games in 1975.
