Saman Sorjaturong was dropped by a BODY ATTACK from Chiquita Gonzalaez....only to come back and KO Gonzalez.

Arturo Gatti was given a gift by referee Rudy Battle in his rematch with Tracy Harris Patterson. Patterson absolutely blasted Gatti in the pit of his stomach with a left hand, dropping him in tremendous pain. Battle some how ruled it a low blow and gave Gatti a minute plus to recover. Gatti did recover, and wound up winning a decision.

      Ali vs Wepner.

That said Ali wasn't hurt by the blow which dropped him!

i suppose you're right when you say mcgee was not competitive in the sense that he wasn't winning rounds
but he was in the fight until late

usually when a guy goes down for a from a body shot he is largely done, hence why there have been so few instances that fit the OP, so i'd argue that comparatively mcgee was doing well for a guy who was dropped with body punches from a brutish body puncher

and margarito was pressuring, though certainly making a habit of taking punches to the face

but i didn't read your post
        i wont lie about it.

in that same sense neither was chop chop

but they did a great deal better than your average victim of flush power punches to the liver (pause, go down to a knee or both knees and both gloves, and stay there until they are counted out)
